Obviously, I love books and I love blogging but sometimes, I run out of inspiration and I don’t know what to write about, a thing (I’m pretty sure this is a thing) called book blogger’s block.

As we are all human, I’m (pretty) sure we’ve all been though this blogger’s block (and it’s not fun), but as the wonderful person I am, I’m here today to give you some book blog post ideas and maybe some inspiration to share and discuss new book-related things!

  1. What’s your favorite genre? How did you first realize you loved this genre?
  2. Write a personal post. What’s going on in your life? People eat that stuff up.
  3. Do the Literary Lovers Book Tag.
  4. Show off your shelves!
  5. How do you organize your shelves?
  6. Write up some bookstagram tips / tutorials.
  7. Who is your favorite author? Why?
  8. What made you start book blogging? Write an origin post!
  9. Accumulate some of your favorite quotes from your favorite book(s).
  10. Write a review on a backlist book (backlist: books that are not new / recent releases).
  11. Discuss how you organize your Goodreads shelves.
  12. Make a list! This can be anything: books you recently hauled, books you DNF’d, favorite books from your favorite genre, you name it!
  13. Do you use a bullet-journal? Give us your tips!
  14. What are your favorite book-to-movies?
  15. Write up a discussion post!
  16. What are your opinions on some controversial topics in the book blogging community?
  17. Feeling generous and have some extra money on hand? Host a giveaway!
  18. Do the Celebrity Book Tag.
  19. What are the pros and cons of eReaders or paperbound books?
  20. Do you know how to do a thing? Teach us!

Have you ever been in a book blogger’s block? How did you get over it? What are some of your book blog post ideas?

  1. I have to say, I feel lucky because I’ve never felt on a book blogger’s block so much, lately it’s pretty much the contrary, but it’s always so great to brainstorm some ideas, and try and keep them for when you’re feeling a little down and not really inspired 🙂

  2. This is such an excellent and helpful post! Sometimes your mind just stops working and every idea you have ever had completely leaves you. It happens way to often, to be honest!
