Today, we’re here with Savanna from Book Fox!
Hello, this is my first ever guest post, hope you enjoy it. I had been picked to do my favorite book characters. As we know, most of us have over 100 fav. Characters, but I decided to focus on only 5 today. Some will be from my favorite books and some are just there. LOL Here we go.
1. VAMPIRE ACADEMY BY RICHELLE MEAD – ROSE HATHAWAY
The first character I want to talk about is Rose Hathaway from Vampire Academy. We all know the movie wasn’t the best, but the books were amazing. Rose Hathaway is one of, maybe my most favorite fictional character ever. She’s badass, sarcastic, caring and so much more. I fell in love with her character when I first read VA, and my love grew for her after every book. She’s like a sister to Lissa and their friendship is so beautiful, but we aren’t talking about their friendship but Rose. She’s one of those characters that anyone can relate to even if you’re not dhampir. You see what I did there. LOL. I love her, she’s amazing and beautiful and one badass woman.
2. THRONE OF GLASS BY SARAH J MAAS – CELAENA
Oh Celaena, is a fluffing assassin, ASSASSIN!!! Isn’t that so cool? I mean she gets annoying at times when she says she’s the best assassin in the world, but we know that already. Celaena as a character is very, how do you say it nice. Lol. She can always kill in one second, sooo. I like her character.
3. ALICE IN WONDERLAND BY LEWIS CARROL – ALICE
Alice, I love Alice. She not only a average girl that gets to go down to wonderland but also a sweet, innocent girl. She’s my favorite childhood character. I loved how she went on all these adventures with the Mad Hatter, facing the Red Queen. Her character is so beautiful, not only her appearance but how she’s described as a person, caring, kind, and herself.
4. A COURT OF MIST AND FURY BY SARAH J MAAS – RHYSAND
Rhysand is a GOD!! Literally. One of the most sarcastic, and kind male characters i have ever read about. In the first book, he’s so mean but in ACOMAF he’s like a winged teddy bear. Ugh, I think about him all the time. He’s like the perfect boyfriend, so handsome, kind, caring, a friend, and beautiful. Yes, beautiful. You would not expect that from the High Fae of the Night Court, where everyone thinks he’s ruthless but no you’re in for a surprise. His wings, damn baby, they’re something alright. Beautiful, mystifying, black, glorious, I’m just describing Rhysand alone, he’s one beautiful fae. If only he existed.
5. NEVERMORE BY KELLY CREAGH – VAREN
Another one of my favorite male characters. 🙂 He’s one of those loner, mysterious, dressed in all black kind of guys; hiding many secrets. If you like those types of guys, read this series. No this is not a recommendation. He keeps to himself, staying quiet but when he speaks, well damn does he have a fluffing beautiful voice. So calm and collected, like a feather. One of those guys, that sits in the corner, doodling in his journal. Beautiful, yet mysterious.
There you have it, folks, my top 5 favorite characters! I have so many more, but then this post would never end!
MEET THE BLOGGER
Hello, my name is Savanna and I’m the girl behind Book Fox. I’m 19 years old, with a passion for reading and drawing/painting. I will be majoring in English, with, hopefully a minor in art.
As part of the tour, I’m giving away one YA preorder of your choice (under $17), international as long as TBD ships. Full rules here.
I loooooove Celaena Sardothien sooooo much. It seems like so many female characters in YA never get to enjoy more feminine things like Celaena who loves makeup and fashion, which I love. That probably made no sense, but whatever. I also really love Rhysand. ❤ ❤ ❤ He's quitte litereally perfect (Okay not really, but you get the point). Great list, I still have yet to read some of these though!
