Monthly TBR: May 2017

I decided to create a new feature on my blog, in which I would discuss the books I’m planning to read. I find this helps me stay focused on my TBR and not procrastinate or fall into slumps. Without further ado, here’s my monthly TBR for May!

UPSIDE OF UNREQUITED // I’m actually reading this now, and I love how much I can relate to it. I always hear how much everyone loves Becky, so I’m super pumped to experience her work for real.

FIREWORKS // I have never read a Cotugno book, and I hear this is set in the ’90s when I was born! I love the cover, and I’ve been really into contemporary lately, so hopefully I love this one.

A MILLION JUNES // I enjoyed Emily Henry’s debut, and I love this cover so much, so I’m hoping I love this one. I’m also going to be on the blog tour for this novel, so keep your eyes peeled for my post soon!

THE LOVE INTEREST // I requested this book a few months ago, and of course, I decide to read it a few weeks before it releases. I’m fine. This one is about two boys who fight over a girl but end up falling in love with each other. I’m so excited.

I have exams nearly every day this whole month, so I’m going to be super busy, so hopefully I can handle reading these books. Fingers crossed! What books are you planning to read this month?

  1. This is a great list! I am personally looking forward to The Upside of Unrequited quite a bit. My TBR this month includes Stories of Your Life and Others, the Sci-fi short story collection containing the story the film Arrival is based on. Also, The Sun is Also A Star and The Flames in the Mist for more YA.
    Good luck with your TBR!

  2. Ooh, you have an awesome TBR for this month! Upside is one of my favorites of the year. I also loved The Love Interest! I just read Fireworks this week, and it was such a quick, summery read. I’ve heard nothing but fantastic things about A Million Junes, so I can’t wait to hear your thoughts on that one! ❤

  3. Ahh I’m so envious you get to read The Love Interest, I’m so excited to read that book since the premise is so intriguing and I love the twist on the usual love triangle. And I do want to read the Katie Cotugno book too, I haven’t read any of her books but I’ve been meaning to and the boyband 90’s vibe sounds so great I hope you enjoy both. Also, good luck on your finals!
