Monthly Recap: July 2016

Hope your July was as eventful as mine! My birthday was this month, I visited a few colleges, and worked on my summer assignments. Nonetheless, I still got to read quite a few books!

I read 15 books this month, which is, I think, the most number of books I’ve ever read in a month! I’m super proud of myself, and this really helps my Goodreads challenge so I can slack off (for lack of a better word) in the coming fall!

For 2016, I signed up for 4 year-long challenges. You can see my overall progress here.

  1. Great monthly wrap up! A late happy birthday but I hope your day was absolutely amazing! Wow 15 books in 1 month is huuggee but way to go on kicking that Goodreads challenge’ ass!! I look forward to hearing your thoughts on Six of Crows as I’m still waiting to read that one 🙂

  2. I’m so glad I found your blog this past month, it’s instantly become a favourite of mine! Heraps of great posts made and I’d say my top blog post of yours for this month would be How Do You Define YA? This was a very thought provoking article and it’s really changed the way I think about the YA category of books. Well done on reading 15 books this month – holy cow!! Some great ones in there too. 🙂

  3. 15 books in one month is awesome! And it seems like you’re doing pretty well on your challenges too 🙂 Also, happy one year blogoversary! I’ll have to come back to check out that post. And that’s cool that you’ll be starting a blog feature. I’ve been blogging for a year and am still trying to figure out some sort of feature for my blog lol.

  4. I still keep thinking about your post about how you define YA. It’s funny because I’m reading Nevernight right now and I keep thinking my response to your question would be different after reading it. I think I’ll write a post on that of my own (and I’ll be referring back to yours as well!).
