Monthly Recap: July 2016

Hope your July was as eventful as mine! My birthday was this month, I visited a few colleges, and worked on my summer assignments. Nonetheless, I still got to read quite a few books!

I read 15 books this month, which is, I think, the most number of books I’ve ever read in a month! I’m super proud of myself, and this really helps my Goodreads challenge so I can slack off (for lack of a better word) in the coming fall!

• Additionally, I presented a playlist for Gemini by Sonya Mukherjee for a blog tour + giveaway.
• I posted a few ARCs I’d like to read in August for my 2016 ARC August: Sign Up.
• I asked How Do You Define YA? for a discussion post this month.
• I did the Fifty Bookish Questions Book Tag, which was fun, but loooong.
• I posted a haul of 20+ books from the past month, titled Blow Us Haul Away.
• Finally, I posted a few Movie Recommendations.

For August, I’m participating in ARC August, so I have quite a few ARCs lined up on my TBR. I’m also looking forward to continuing the TOG series (don’t spoil me I beg of you) and reading some other backlist titles.

• I’m also participating in the STALKING JACK THE RIPPER street team blog tour, so watch out for that post!
• I’m hosting my first blog feature that will focus on bringing attention to newbie bloggers, called Welcome to the Neighborhood. I’ll have an introduction post soon, but throughout the months of September and November, I’ll be having discussions, interviews, guest posts, and other fun posts for you to read about our new book bloggers! There will also be an international giveaway (hosted by myself) plus other giveaways hosted by the featured bloggers! I’m super excited for this, and I hope you are too!
