It’s My Birthday + Giveaway!!

As you might have guessed from the title of this post, it’s my birthday!

And I have turned 17, which means I’m one year closer to death older and (not much) wiser.

So, in order to celebrate, here’s seventeen things I’ve done since my last birthday. (Oh, and a giveaway at the end!)

1. I took the SATs/PSATs/SAT Subject Tests.
2. I read more than 45 books in the first half of the year. I don’t think I’ve ever done that before in my life tbh.
3. I got a pen pal! (What’s up, Kaitlin 😉 )
4. I started watching booktube videos and I love them to pieces
5. I got approved for my first physical ARC a few months ago and I was thrilled even though I wasn’t a huge fan of the book (and I just got approved a few weeks ago for another one!).
6. I started a bookstagram account! (Hit me up 😉 )
7. I also recently hit 1.4k on my bookstagram (as of the time I’m writing this post)!! Thank you all!
8. I got my driver’s license!
9. I hosted my first giveaway in December (I believe).
10. I started listening to Hamilton, and I’ve descended into the abyss.
11. I’ve made so many friends and I couldn’t be more grateful for all of you.
12. I started collecting bookish pins (idk they’re cool).
13. I started using Goodreads and organizing my Goodreads shelves (you can add me here!)
14. I now design graphics for blog headers, phone backgrounds, bookmarks, and other things, and it’s been so much fun! (You can also request some here.)
15. I read so many new books that I probably wouldn’t have read if I hadn’t joined the book community.
16. I feel like my writing skills have developed from writing so many discussion and review posts.
17. I started this blog! Thank you to everyone who welcomed me into this community when I first started (P.S. my blogoversary is coming up in one month–very, very soon! Expect more fun + surprises aka giveaways!).
