Drive: a couple that needs to communicate (better)

The first couple that popped into my head was Bella and Edward, so Bella and Edward. And I definitely think that their lack of speaking may hinder their communication levels regarding their relationship.

Hurricane: favorite standalone

We Are the Ants by Shaun David Hutchinson! Definitely one of my favorites of this year!

Roman Holiday: cutest contemporary couple

Middie and Lee from THE LEAVING SEASON. I really adored this book and this couple.

Ghost: most tragic break up

I honestly don’t have an answer for this one. I’m usually not heartbroken over break ups because I know that if it’s that heartbreaking, the couple’s bound to get together somehow.

Coming Down: best sexy times scene

Literally all the sexy time scenes between Juliette and Warner. My goodness.

Haunting: a book or character you’re still thinking about

I recently read THE LEAVING SEASON by Cat Jordan, and I’m still in love with it. It’s definitely resonated with me, but I’m not exactly sure how or why.

Gasoline: favorite (self-)destructive character

Probably Eden from THE WAY I USED TO BE. Nonetheless, she has a good portion of my love.

Control: Best villain

I really enjoyed reading about the cannibal family in REVENGE AND THE WILD. I actually really enjoyed reading this book in general! If you enjoy western/steampunk/awesome characters, definitely check this one out!

REIGN OF SHADOWS by Sophie Jordan is a loose retelling of Rapunzel and also a fantastic, fantastic novel.

Is There Somewhere: OTP with obstacles

Lee and Middie from THE LEAVING SEASON. Spoiler, when Nate comes back, they’re relationship becomes quite inconvenient.

Empty Gold: an OTP that became a NOTP

Spoiler alert, but Adam and Juliette. At first, I was all, yes! But then as I continued reading the series, I just got really turned off by him.

Trouble: toxic relationship you ship even though you know better

Ack, I can’t answer this question; I honestly despise toxic relationships.
